jimbuoy If you look at the left side of the pic near the front corner of the seat, you can see the small striper.

FYI: Cheesequake creek is also known as Morgan creek. That entire creek from the break water jetties, right into the marinas have bait fish, and smaller blues and striper.

The creek forms a salt marsh that attachs the bait fish and smaller game fish. Some times you might hook injto a large one.

gluttony32 Good to know, ty. I know some of the park rangers and the freshwater pond sucks, they always tell me there are stripers in the creek but I havent caught any...also my buddy live right across the street from the raritan bay in keansburg, and says you can catch stripers in the surf...I belive that you can at sandy hook, ive never heard of anybody catching anything in the surf on the bay besides fluke or sea robbins, thats all Ive ever caught near his house too.

jimbuoy Sandy hook is better from shore, but I know a lot of guys that fish from shore or the Keansburg pier and they catch everything. Even cow nose rays. FYI: Low tide sucks from shore unless you want to wade out to get your line in deep water.
