Headed here for the second time late season to see if the bass were active. Had a good day with lots of bites but only one quality fish at about two and a half pounds. There was a ton of dinks biting and my baby girl loves to throw them in so i caught them all and had a fun with her. There was a football game on so the water was quiet for a long time and a few boats came out after but no tubes or water ski's. The wind was kicking my butt, i still got it done. Best luck was with a weightless 4" worm. I used watermelon red flake and a black purple laminate and they ate both. Overall i would not change my rating on this lake but late season is decent for bass.
The signs and information indicate that there would be no power boats going fast dragging kids on tubes and people water skiing but that was just not the case. I was here on a Sunday and it was no where near as bad as mason, but a lot worse than i expected with the information on the lake.
Dates Open: Last Sat in April - Oct 31
