Went here again yesterday and had a good time. Most of the bass I was catching were all about 11-12 inches but I did get a pound and a half fish in the evening. I like this place for the size in my yak and the fact that the camp on the shore makes sure people are not being crazy in boats. This may be by flooding the lake with canoes so going fast is not possible or just stupid unsafe but it works for me. Ran into one other bass guy and we shared the lake. We both did ok although he did not get a larger fish. The most active section of the lake was the back smaller branch away from the main lake. I must have had 20 by the end of the day and if you were to take a child fishing to get them some experience this would have been the place to be.
