Hopeville Pond Fishing Report

2nd Trip To Hopeville Pond, 10-10-10 (perfect?)

Made it all day this time except Dunc's screwed the coffee. Black-no-sugar means BLACK-NO-SUGAR. Instead I got cream! Went to the swimming beach to put in around 9:00 (give or take) instead of the boat ramp. Went northwest, almost to the dam. Caught one largemouth that had been injured. (see photo uploaded earlier) Then drifted back toward the beach untill I got into the little 'bay' on the south side of the east/west leg of the pond. Hooked up my first pike, 3 inches short of a keeper, but now I can say I caught one! Nothing else all day, but the leaves are changing, making for a real nice day after the sun warmed thing up a bit.
